Want to get involved in making our community even better? Join the Madrid Area Chamber of Commerce (formerly the Madrid Action Committee) (MAC) and help make it happen!
MAC is a group of individuals and businesses committed to continuing to making the Madrid area an even better place to live and work. MAC’s mission is the promotion and economic development of the Madrid community. MAC works closely with the Boone Chamber of Commerce and the Boone Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. MAC’s activities include
- Community website
- Promotional and informational brochures, posters and other materials
- Business surveys
- Community forums
- Community planning events
- Community beautification including flower pots in the business areas
- Community-wide garage sale in May
- Christmas Extravaganza and lighted parade in early December
- Boone Chamber State Fair booth,
- Community Leader and Volunteer awards
- Student Leader awards
- Student scholarship

MAC meets year-round one or two times a month, depending on the month, and always at 7 a.m. the first Wednesday of each month at The Cedars, 613 West North Street, Madrid. Can’t make this meeting time but would like to participate? We have a variety of committees and other opportunities to work with other MAC members, and we are always looking for new ideas and volunteers. Members joining at the business level receive the benefit of having contact information listed with a static web page and/or a link to their website from the MAC website business directory.

Membership in the Madrid Area Chamber of Commerce is open to all individuals and businesses who support our mission of advancing the economic, industrial, professional, cultural, and civic welfare of the Madrid area.

MAC is a 501(c)(6) organization. Contributions to MAC may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses for income tax purposes; however, payments are not deductible as charitable contributions.
